GRG Sports is a teamwear manufacturer based in the West of Ireland, producing custom jerseys, training wear and club leisurewear for clubs, schools and organisations across the country. Founded in 2018 by Mayo GAA players, Shairoze Akram and Cian Hanley, GRG combines a player's understanding of what teamwear needs to do with direct, Irish based control over how every order is made.

From Design to Delivery: How GRG Manufactures Teamwear

Every GRG order starts with a free design consultation, not a catalogue pick. Once your club or organisation approves crest placement, colours and sponsor branding, that design moves into production in Ireland, where our team oversees cutting, personalisation and finishing before anything is packed for delivery.

Producing in the West of Ireland means shorter lead times between design approval and delivery, easier communication if a club needs to adjust an order, and direct oversight of every batch rather than managing quality at a distance. It also means GRG's promise that customers receive the product they were shown, not a compromise on it, is backed by a production line our own team can walk onto.

Our Quality Control Process

Quality control at GRG happens at three points. First, at design: every mockup is checked against your crest artwork and club colours before production starts, with free revisions until you approve the final design. Second, at production: personalisation, stitching and sizing are checked against our size guide specifications during manufacture. Third, at delivery: GRG's stated goal since day one has been that customers are fully satisfied with the product they receive, and our team follows up after delivery to confirm your club is happy.

If sizing is a concern before you order at all, our fitting service brings sample sizes to your club or posts a sample pack, so every player is measured before production begins rather than after.

LGFA Licensed, Ethically Manufactured

GRG Sports is an LGFA licensed manufacturer, meaning our production meets the standards the Ladies Gaelic Football Association requires of official kit suppliers. Manufacturing is also carried out under Sedex and SMETA Pillar 2 & 4 approved standards, an internationally recognised ethical trade audit covering labour conditions, health and safety, and business ethics. For clubs and schools, that means your order is backed by an externally recognised standard, not just a promise on a website.

Teamwear made and checked in Ireland is teamwear built with Irish weather, Irish pitches and Irish training schedules in mind. From wet October training sessions to championship days in June, GRG designs and manufactures gear for the conditions our own clubs actually play in, not a generic international size range adapted after the fact.
